This beautiful 19th century handmade rug is a very fine example of Kuba Kilim. An indigo ground spread with eleven rows of diamond shaped elements containing hook designs in shades of ivory, turquoise, brick red, rose, and yellow, all surrounded by an ivory border with a variety of geometric elements.
